I’m grateful you’re here.

Let’s start our journey to more meaning, purpose and leadership together.

This is the first step of getting to know each other and I’d like to begin with introducing the 12 phases of The Hero’s Journey.

Personally, this journey completely transformed my life and I want to share its inspiring insights step by step, so that you’ll get an experience how it can help improve your life and business.

I’ll focus on the mythological themes and translate these to your daily life and reality. Don’t worry, I’ll take you by the hand and lead you.

Take a deep breath in… Breathe out… Are you ready?

The first phase of The Hero’s Journey is called ‘The Prologue’. In stories from all around the world this is the initial stage where you meet the hero(ine).

You might remember a phrase like: ‘Once upon a time, in a land far away, there was a princess…’

 In movies you usually see the camera zooming in from the universe or sky to the town where our protagonist is living.

Or you’d see water in the form of seas, waves or under water scenes, like the one you see in the picture above. The still is taken from one of my favorite transformational movies Whale Rider. I’ll elaborate more on the significance of the movie for The Hero’s Journey and personal growth in my upcoming blogs.

The element of water is often a metaphor for the source of the plot that you’re going to discover. It’s like the universal dna of the story.

What the prologue actually conveys is the ordinary daily life with its natural rhythms and flows. It’s the introduction where you meet the hero(ine) and see how (s)he lives. It’s a summary of his/her existence.

Now back to you… with some reflection questions.
